Sascha Novy – Work-Life Space von BRAINHOUSE247, Hannover

Hier steckt ganz viel Lindner drin

Seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte bei der Lindner Group – das trifft unter anderem auf unseren Kollegen Sascha Novy zu! Mit einer abgeschlossenen Lehre zum Tischler stieß Sascha im Jahr 2002 zu Lindner und war von nun an als Monteur und anschließend Vorarbeiter bei uns tätig. Seit 2016 ist Sascha inzwischen Projektleiter in unserer Niederlassung in Hamburg und koordiniert tagtäglich Projekte in ganz Norddeutschland.

Sein spannendstes Projekt in letzter Zeit? Ganz klar der Work-Life Space von BRAINHOUSE247 in Hannover Laatzen: Hier wurde auf rund 18.000 m² und fünf Etagen ein neuer Work-Life-Space geschaffen. Gemeinsam mit seinem Team war Sascha somit an der Realisierung eines Ortes für Produktivität, Kreativität und Gesundheit in Hannover beteiligt. Neben hochmodernen Einzel- und Gemeinschaftsbüros umfasst das Gebäude einen Sportbereich, zahlreiche Gastronomieflächen und vieles mehr – eine wirklich inspirierende Umgebung! 

Was dabei ursprünglich als „kleiner“ Abbruchauftrag begann, endete letztlich als Komplettausbau mit Planungsauftrag: Dabei umfasste der erste Auftrag ausschließlich die Demontage von Lüftungskanälen sowie weitere Rohbau- und Kernbohrarbeiten. Schließlich war Saschas Team unter anderem für Trockenbau-, Bodenbelags-, Lüftungs-, Kabel- sowie Sanitärarbeiten zuständig. Doch das war noch nicht alles: Heute schmücken außerdem verschiedenste Lindner Doppel- und Hohlböden, Deckensegel, Glastrennwände und Leuchten aus der hauseigenen Leuchtenfabrik das Gebäude. Diese Entwicklung war für Sascha eine der schönsten Erfahrungen in Hinblick auf den Bau des Work-Life Spaces. 

Trotz zahlreicher Highlights beinhaltete das Projekt auch einige Herausforderungen für Sascha und sein Team – besonders im Hinblick auf die Arbeits- und Vorgehensweise der baulichen Ausführung: Denn anders als gewöhnlich wurde beim Bau des Work-Life-Spaces zum Teil gleichzeitig gebaut als auch geplant. Dies erforderte einiges an Geschick und Koordination! Letztlich meisterte das Team jedoch auch diese Hürde ohne Probleme und das Bauvorhaben wird voraussichtlich in den nächsten Monaten fertiggestellt werden.

Where our Heart Beats – Lindner

At the Lindner Group for more than two decades – this applies among others to our colleague Sascha Novy! After completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter, Sascha joined Lindner in 2002 and worked for us as a fitter and then as a foreman. Since 2016, Sascha has been a project manager in our Hamburg office, coordinating projects throughout northern Germany on a daily basis.

His most exciting project lately? Without a doubt, the BRAINHOUSE247 work-life space in Hannover Laatzen, where a new work-life space was created on around 18,000 m2 and five floors. Together with his team, Sascha helped to create a place for productivity, creativity and health in Hanover. In addition to state-of-the-art individual and shared offices, the building includes a sports area, numerous catering facilities and much more – a truly inspiring environment!

What started out as a 'small' demolition job ended up as a complete fit-out with a design contract: The first assignment only involved the removal of ventilation ducts and other structural work and core drilling. In the end, Sascha's team was responsible for drywall, flooring, ventilation, cabling and plumbing, among other things. But that's not all: today the building also boasts a wide range of Lindner raised and hollow floors, ceiling canopies, glass partitions and luminaires from the in-house lighting factory. For Sascha, this development has been one of the best experiences in the construction of the work-life space.

Despite the many highlights, the project also posed a number of challenges for Sascha and his team – particularly in terms of the work and approach to construction: Unlike most projects, the construction of the Work-Life Space was partly built and partly designed at the same time. This required a lot of skill and coordination! In the end, however, the team overcame this hurdle without a hitch and the project is expected to be completed in the next few months.
