Hier steckt ganz viel Lindner drin

Bald feiert er sein Jubiläum: Seit ganzen 29 Jahren ist Rudolf Schmauss für Lindner tätig! Begonnen hat er als Monteur für sämtliche unserer Produkte – mit Ausnahme der Bodensysteme. Dann nahm er den typischen Weg über den Zweitmonteur zum Obermonteur. Er wechselte ins Büro, um kaufmännische Aufgaben zu erlernen, und wurde Bauleiter und anschließend Projektleiter. Heute ist Rudolf Gebietsleitung für den Vertrieb unserer Heiz- und Kühldecken sowie unsere Deckensysteme!

Eines der interessantesten Projekte, die Rudolf in letzter Zeit abwickelte, war der Neubau von Axel Springer in Berlin nach Plänen von Rem Koolhaas und dessen Büro OMA Rotterdam. Gemeinsam mit Projektleiter Michel Nahlik, der für die Feinabstimmung mit der Bauleitung und dem Architekten zuständig war, sowie Bauleiter Andreas Lorenz ging es gleich zu Beginn an den Projektfahrplan. Die Koordination der Montagepartner, die in Summe ca. 100 Personen ausmachten, übernahm Obermonteur Uwe Schober.

Etwas über ein Jahr lang arbeitete Rudolf mit seinem Team an der Ausführung von besonderen Heiz- und Kühldecken aus Streckmetall – eine spektakuläre Sonderlösung, die individuell für Axel Springer realisiert wurde. Auch Metallheiz- und Kühldecken kamen zum Einsatz sowie eine spezielle Dämmung der Rohdecke auf 25.000 m², die gleichzeitig als Akustikelement funktioniert – ebenfalls eine Sonderlösung. Besonders herausfordernd war für Rudolf dabei, einige spontan auftretende Anforderungen zeitnah umzusetzen.

Aber nicht nur im Innenbereich waren Rudolf und sein Team aktiv: Die verbauten Lindner Sonderdeckensysteme für den Außenbereich müssen sämtlichen auftretenden Wind- und Soglasten standhalten – ein ausgeklügeltes System! Außerdem besitzen sie eine spezielle Auflage für den Schutz vor Kleintieren. Im direkten Anschluss an die Fassade des Axel-Springer-Gebäudes verlaufen schräge Metalldecken mit Revisionsklappen: Sie sorgen dafür, dass die Reinigungstruppe in bis zu 40 m Höhe ihrer Arbeit nachgehen kann.

Als Zusatzleistung realisierten Rudolf und sein Team für sämtliche Aufzüge 5-mm-Edelstahl-Türzargen. Auch gold- und silberfarbene Wandverkleidung aus speziellem gelochtem Aluminium-Trapezblech gehörten zum Auftrag. All diese Leistungen realisierte Lindner von der Planung über die Herstellung, Lieferung und Montage. Besonders gefallen hat Rudolf dabei die gute Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produktionsteam, dem Projektteam, den Montagepartnern und der Bauleitung.

Where our heart beats - Lindner

He will soon be celebrating his anniversary: ​​Rudolf Schmauss has been with Lindner for 29 years! He started out as a fitter for all of our products – but the floor systems. He became second fitter and senior fitter. Then he switched to the office to learn commercial skills and became construction manager and project manager, afterwards. Today, Rudolf is the Regional Manager in the sales of our heated and chilled ceilings as well as our ceiling systems!

One of the most interesting projects Rudolf has recently carried out was the new Axel Springer building in Berlin based on plans by architect Rem Koolhaas and his office OMA Rotterdam. Together with project manager Michel Nahlik, who was responsible for the reconciliation with the construction management and the architect, and construction manager Andreas Lorenz, the project scheduling started. Head fitter Uwe Schober took over the coordination of the assembly partners; around 100 people in total!

For a little over a year, Rudolf and his team worked on the implementation of special heated and chilled ceilings made of expanded metal – a spectacular special solution that was individually produced for Axel Springer. Metal heated and chilled ceilings were also used, as well as special insulation for the raw ceiling on 25,000 m². Simultaneously, the insulation functions as an acoustic element – another special solution. It was particularly challenging for Rudolf to promptly implement some upcoming spontaneous requirements.

But Rudolf and his team didn’t only work inside of the building: The implemented special Lindner ceiling systems for the exterior withstand all wind and suction loads – a sophisticated system! It also has a special cover for protection against small animals. Inclined metal ceilings with inspection flaps run directly next to the facade of the Axel Springer building: They ensure that the cleaning team can go about their work – up to a height of 40 m!

As an additional service, Rudolf and his team realised 5 mm stainless steel door frames for all elevators. Gold- and silver-coloured wall claddings made of special perforated aluminum trapezoidal sheet were also part of the order. Lindner implemented all of these services from planning to manufacture, delivery and assembly. Rudolf is particularly happy about the good cooperation with the production team, the project team, the assembly partners and the construction management.
