Hier steckt ganz viel Lindner drin

Gemeinsam Großes schaffen – das tun Markus und Matthias mit ihrem Team tagtäglich in der Schweiz: Denn das Kantonsspital Baden ist nicht das erste Projekt, das die beiden für uns begleiten. Sowohl Markus als auch Matthias sind bereits seit Jahren fester Bestandteil der Lindner Group.

Während Markus 1993 als Monteur zu uns kam und später als Vorarbeiter und Montageleiter unterstützte, begann Matthias 2015 seine Ausbildung zum Trockenbaumonteur bei Lindner. Heute realisieren die beiden gemeinsam als Projekt- bzw. Bauleiter der Lindner Niederlassung Opfikon unsere Projekte in der Schweiz – wie zum Beispiel den Neubau des Kantonsspitals Baden (KSB).

Bis Ende 2023 soll der Gesundheitscampus hier im Kanton Aargau weiter ausgebaut werden. Doch bis dahin haben Markus, Matthias und ihr Team noch einiges zu tun. Mehr als 2.000 Einbauleuchten der Lindner Leuchtenfabrik liefern und montieren sie im Schweizer Krankenhaus. Hinzu kommen unzählige Lindner Systemtrennwände aus Glas, Türen und Trockenbauleistungen. Festverglasungen mit innenliegenden Jalousien für mehr Privatsphäre, Wandbekleidungen und Möbel für den Check-in- und Check-out-Bereich stammen ebenfalls von Lindner. Damit der Bauprozess dabei reibungslos abläuft, koordinieren Matthias und Markus das Montagepersonal, kontrollieren die Arbeiten und sind für die Logistik und Materialbeschaffung verantwortlich.

Da die beiden zugleich das Sprachrohr zum Bauherren sind, gehört zudem das Lösen von Herausforderungen zu ihrem Tagesgeschäft: Wie jedes Projekt bringt nämlich auch der Neubau des Kantonsspitals Baden neue Herausforderungen mit sich. Diese müssen zeitgerecht und für alle Beteiligten zufriedenstellend gelöst werden. Im Fall des Schweizer Spitals waren es vor allem die Flurdecken mit sehr geringer Aufbauhöhe, die Matthias und Markus vor eine Herausforderung stellten. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit mussten Sonderlösungen mit Brandschutznachweis entwickelt werden – wobei die Statik nicht vernachlässigt werden durfte. Denn für Projekte in der Schweiz gelten besondere Vorschriften in Sachen Erdbebensicherheit. Dazu kommt der Zeitdruck durch die Gewerke, welche Lindner im Laufe des Bauvorhabens zusätzlich übernehmen durfte.

Doch auch diese Herausforderungen meistern die Zwei mit ihrem Team vor Ort problemlos. So fallen den Beiden beim Gedanken an das Projekt vor allem die schönen Dinge ein. Matthias schätzt besonders die kleinen Momente auf der Baustelle: Sei es das Feierabendbier mit den Kollegen, ein Grillfest als Dankeschön für unsere Monteure und Partnerfirmen oder der kurze Feierabendschwatz mit der Bauleitung. Besonders wichtig ist den beiden dabei, dass trotz kleiner Reibereien, die im hektischen Baustellenalltag unvermeidlich sind, der Umgang miteinander stets freundschaftlich und auf Augenhöhe erfolgt.

Switzerland

Achieving great things together – that's what Markus and Matthias and their team in Switzerland do every day: because the Kantonsspital Baden is not the first project the two of them have worked on for us. Both Markus and Matthias have been an integral part of the Lindner Group for many years.

While Markus joined us in 1993 as a fitter and later supported us as a foreman and site manager, Matthias started his training as a drywall builder at Lindner in 2015. Today, the two work together as project and site managers at the Lindner branch in Opfikon to realise our projects in Switzerland – such as the new construction of the Kantonsspital Baden (KSB).

The healthcare campus here in the canton of Aargau is due to be expanded further by the end of 2023. But Markus, Matthias and their team still have a lot to do before then. They are supplying and installing more than 2,000 recessed luminaires from Lindner Leuchtenfabrik in the Swiss hospital. In addition, there are countless Lindner glass partition walls, doors and dry lining services. Fixed glazing with internal blinds for greater privacy, wall claddings, various pieces of furniture for the check-in and check-out areas, the coffee bar and much more were also supplied by Lindner. To ensure that the construction process runs smoothly, Matthias and Markus coordinate the installation team, supervise the work and are responsible for logistics and material procurement.

As the two of them also act as the voice of the client, solving challenges is part of their day-to-day business: "Like any project, the new construction of the Baden Cantonal Hospital also brings with it new challenges. These have to be solved on time and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. In the case of the Swiss hospital, it was above all the very low ceilings in the corridors that presented Matthias and Markus with a challenge. Within a very short space of time, special solutions had to be developed with fire protection in mind – without neglecting the statics. Projects in Switzerland are subject to special regulations regarding earthquake safety. There was also time pressure due to the trades that Lindner had to take on during the construction project.

But Markus and Matthias and their team have also mastered these challenges on site. They both focus on the good things in the project and appreciate the little moments on site: whether it's a beer with colleagues after work, a barbecue to thank our fitters and partner companies, or a quick chat with the site manager after work. It is particularly important to both of them that, despite the little friction that is inevitable in the hustle and bustle of everyday life on site, they always deal with each other in a friendly manner and on an equal footing.

It is an indescribable feeling when a good job is done and the customer is happy with our performance!
